Why does the USB show less capacity?

Storage devices use decimal system and PCs use binary system, which creates some discrepancy between actual capacity and the capacity reported by a PC. The difference can be between 2% and 9%. (32GB with 29.44GB usable storage)

Format

The USB is formatted as FAT32, NTFS and exFAT. FAT32 is the factory default format, compatible with Windows and Mac OS for reading and writing, while NTFS is compatible with Windows but semi-compatible with Mac OS. Please format it if necessary.

File larger than 4 GB

If you copy or open a file larger than 4GB, please format the USB to ExFAT.
