HUNTER

Masters of the Frontier: Quick on the trigger and deadly with the blade, Hunters stalk battlefields as if hunting prey. Cunning and ruthless, they appreciate the unknown and prepare for the unexpected, channeling their powers through intuition and instinct.

TITAN

MELTING POT

Adventure on Demand: Revisit worlds you've discovered to aid the city in its exploration efforts, scavenge for valuable resources to upgrade your weapons and gear, and join other brave Guardians as they roam the frontier in search of action and adventure.

HISTORY

Epic Campaign: Destiny features a rich, cinematic story centered on your quest to discover and explore the remnants of humanity’s Golden Age. As a Guardian, you must venture beyond our walls, into a wild and dangerous frontier, and confront ancient, evil forces bent on destroying us.

STRIKE

Cooperative Multiplayer: Assemble a team of three Guardians. Infiltrate an enemy stronghold and fight your way through wave after wave of enemy ranks emboldened by their fierce and seasoned leaders. Face an enemy worthy only of the bravest Guardians.

TOWER

Third-Person Social Space: Home of the Guardians, the Tower is a third-person social hub where you can regroup, rearm, and form new alliances before venturing beyond the safety of the City walls.

DESTINATIONS

LAND

Our home. After the Darkness overtook us, we found the Traveler, where it made its last stand. Beneath it, we built The City—our last—within its protective aura. From here, the Guardians watch, defend our civilization, and reach out into the wild frontiers of Earth (and beyond) to reclaim our lost worlds.

MARS

What little we know about Mars may as well be a myth. We built a vast metropolis on the red dust. Darkness took most of it; sand took the rest. No one knows what remains of our lost era, now buried beneath the dunes.

MOON

Much like on Earth, the ruins of humanity's former glory can be found scattered across the familiar lunar surface. Recent attempts at exploration have been repelled, and increased enemy activity and even a strange tectonic phenomenon have been reported. The city has since classified the Moon as a “Forbidden Zone,” open only to our bravest and most experienced Guardians.

VENUS

Venus was once the site of a great discovery, a paradise. Now it is a monument to all that we have lost. The old stories say that we built an academy of learning and research on the shore of a wonderful sea, and that the waters themselves boiled and rose up to destroy the shore, washing away everything we had built.

ENEMIES

CABALA

Few Guardians have faced the Cabal and lived to tell the tale. They are a professional military operation. On every front we have encountered them on the move, they have already barricaded themselves in and surrounded their facilities with barbed wire. Now, it seems they have turned their eyes to us.

FALLEN

Fallen are resilient creatures that can survive in a wide variety of environments without heavy armor or complex modifications to their physiology. They travel light, hit hard, and are gone before you know it. Fallen may seem like simple scavengers, but look closer and you'll see hints of a splendid and sophisticated past, and the proud markings of their ancestral “Houses.”

HIVE

The Hive manipulates the physical world in ways we can barely imagine. The Hive has carved a realm deep within the Moon's lifeless core, and there they lie, silent and buried among many dark and terrible secrets, a reminder of the tremendous power that brought about the Collapse.

VEX

Scattered reports indicate that the Vex appear to be mass-produced mechanical units constructed from an unknown metal alloy resembling hammered brass. All attempts to communicate with them have failed. They are hostile. They are relentless. They are lethal.
