Note:

To scan images at 2400 dpi, use our supplied ViiScan software.

You can scan up to 1200 x 1200 DPI for full size A3 documents on Windows operating system.

However, for the 2400 x 2400 DPI option, the Windows scanning driver can only scan a small area equivalent to B5 size. This limitation is due to the buffer restrictions of the Windows operating system, which cannot handle such large file sizes.

For MacOS, the VF3240 scanner software can reach 2400dpi for a full-size A3 document.

Regarding WIA, we currently only support scanning up to 600 dpi due to limitations imposed by Microsoft.

Note:

The A3 flatbed scanner uses a CIS sensor that can only scan flat paper images, not three-dimensional items. Otherwise, the scanning results will be unclear or blurry. It is not recommended to scan clothing, CDs, acrylic cases, etc.
